"Chink" is our choice to replace and perpetuate the potent genetics of his popular and much missed sire, Zandular. Having Zan Parr Bar and Sugar Bars on the top side of his papers definitely enhances his athletic ability. Chink's dam was an exceptionally productive mare that always weaned off an outstanding colt. She is a daughter of the highly thought of Haythorn stud, Poco Bueno Image, and a maternal grand-daughter of the Stearns Quarter Horse, then the Pitzer Ranch stallion Tyrees Watch. Combining the superior genetic strength of Chink's sire and dam, we feel he will be the right blend to produce the type of horse that will meet our expectations as an all-around performer.

     Being a young horse, he has not been ridden enough to prove himself yet, but we are very pleased with his disposition and athletic ability thus far. He will see plenty of wet saddle blankets during the upcoming calving and branding seasons. We are extremely impressed with the quiet and calm temperament of his first two foal crops. They were an absolute pleasure to halter break. An added bonus is the high percentage of color he is throwing in his colts!
